Overseas Tax Havens or Onshore Tax Hellhole, which Is it?

Ignoring the real issues they just keep making worse, another left-leaning business-bashing pack of superficial radicals recently accused domestic corporations operating overseas of evading $184 billion in 2013 U.S. income taxes.

First of all, unthinking Liberal think-tankers like these have helped force taxes on profits paid out as dividends to be levied twice in this country, once at the corporate level and then again on shareholders.  WTF?  I mean, WTFF?  Secondly, nobody in their right mind wants to bite the hand that feeds him, making corporate tax rates set by our totally-out-of-its-mind Government back home in the good old U. S. of A. among the most onerous in the world.  MANY AMERICAN COMPANIES COULD NOT COMPETE OVERSEAS IF THEY WENT AHEAD AND PAID THEM, you clueless f#ck!ng morons.

Implicit in all their drivel is the assumption that foreign corporations domiciled in these “offshore” “tax havens” are somehow functioning illegally because their country doesn’t screw their corporations with the imbecilic rates pinkos here make our Government inflict on ours.  That just goes to show you how nuts Liberal crazy-talk circling around Washington has become.

Finally, the only reason why the commie s0ns-0f-b!tch&s who come up with this b#llsh!t get their drivel published is to help politicize the taxation of Working America to support the idle poor of Entitlement America, whose lazy, worthless parasites would riot in the streets if talk turned even remotely close to tying those $60 thou a year welfare checks to anything resembling a g0dd4m job.

Put your constituents to work, unthinking Liberal think-tankers, and stay the hell out of our pockets, why don’t you?

Yet Another Justice Department Payoff

Reuters reports that shakedown artists in the Justice Department are trying to squeeze more than $12 billion in hush money out of Bank of America (BAC) stockholders over that crime family’s role in the criminal mortgaging activities that brought down the civilized world and Iceland earlier in the current millennium.  As always, stockholders, who did no wrong, would cough up the payola while racketeers who ran those capers would get off scot-free, which is why blatantly corrupt Wall Street Dons keep agreeing to make kickbacks to blatantly corrupt public officials in the first place.

         When will it ever end?

Latest SEC Lip Service

It's been a tad over four years now since the May 2010 "flash crash" showed stock market participants, among other things, just how poorly stock market regulators can regulate the stock market, and in a speech yesterday the U. S. Securities and Excuses Commission (SEC) Chairbimbo, Bloodbath Mary Jo White, proclaimed that she's been thinking about maybe proposing stuff, some day, possibly, to somebody, maybe her SEC buds so they can think about proposing stuff too, some day, possibly.  Nothing in her prepared remarks gave Wall Street victims hope that big-time Wall Street perps would ever be fingered for criminal activity on Wall Street, or that any crime-stopping would ever take place there, like through the end of time, and Bloodbath neglected to explain 1) why law enforcement lets Wall Street arch-villains take down the entire global economy with brand new Wall Street crimes every damn time and never end up in the slammer, or 2) just what these brand new Wall Street crimes are anyway, like brand new right now today, like specifically, so a body can save his own ass if her pathetic kind isn't going to do it for him.

Reuters covered the babbling bimbo's blather.  If you can stomach more same old, same old from the mouthpiece for the single most ineffective Government arm in the history of ineffectiveness, here's the dumb link:

Deserter Exchanged for Crack Talaban Leaders?

Now the nation is learning that members of his own unit have been telling everyone who'd listen that U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the soldier released from captivity the other day in exchange for those five hardcore Taliban higher-ups , was taken by the enemy after intentionally deserting his post during guard duty, intentional because he'd 1) asked his team leader what military equipment to leave behind if he did so and clearly took that leader's advice, and 2) already spoken of a desire to flee Afghanistan for Pakistan or India.

Is this really true?  And how come we're just finding out about it now - after the exchange has been made?

         Sure smells treasonable to us.

The Fix as a National Issue

"The game is rigged", the woman has been driving home from her political pulpit, repeating what's become a signature catch-phrase into cameras all across the land, and repeating it long enough to garner herself at least some center ring time in the upcoming Presidential election circus.

Yes, Elizabeth Warren gets it.  "A kid gets caught with a few ounces of pot and goes to jail," the Massachusetts senator puts out there for comparison, "but a big bank breaks the law ... and no one even gets arrested."  But then she takes it to places as destructive in their way as the socioeconomic sins she's wrapped her Liberal head around have been in sacking the American Dream.

Fortunately for the country, Rand Paul gets it too.  His Republican forces, Kentucky's Junior Senator realizes, "cannot be the party of fat cats, rich people, and Wall Street.”  And the course he lays out could take us all to the promised land.  Here's what Forbes has to say about that:

As your MacDougal Post staff sees it, what was explained to the American voter so many years ago still holds.  The Grand Old Party is, and always will be, locked in eternal battle with itself, what used to be called the Barry Goldwater Wing (Big Business) and the Nelson Rockefeller Wing (Populism) eternally pulling it in two different directions at once.

Clearly, at this point in history it's time Nelson's boys won a few rounds once again.

Bastiat on Plunder

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it."  - Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850)

We are deeply grateful for the support our valued subscribers have been showering us with over what has somehow turned into years now, and when the kind of ardent readership The Post has grown used to manifests itself in the form of a material contribution to the important body of work MacDougal is quietly amassing - quietly, stridently, and almost singlehandedly amassing, as you all know - we can only rush to publish it.

Thanks for the above citation, tan_n_buffonblockisland.

Redskins Renamed

Half the Senate has called for the NFL’s Washington Redskins franchise to change its name.  Since Government gives these people the mother of all tax breaks, league officials may not feel like helping Skins management weasel out of it if push comes to shove along the corridors on Capitol Hill.

MacDougal thought it might be useful to come up with a more historically accurate moniker in case the team gets to thinking it probably could use a new one.

Running the numbers on every settler v savage or savage v settler atrocity committed from 1511 to 1890 in what became the continental United States, historian William Osborn tells us the score is 9,156 scalped European settlers to 7,193 mostly shot savages.  In addition to scalping, we’re talking about miscellaneous tomahawking, burning, raping, knifing, clubbing, shooting, impaling, strangling, kidnapping, and ambushing, and that’s before you even get to the massacres, unmentionable torture, infanticide, and God only knows what else is there when you really dig in, which we didn't want to, so there's a whole lot of historical accuracy to back us up with here.

As anyone who had people in the Indian Wars will confirm, family histories generally agree that "the only good injun is a dead injun".  However, bending to the 21st Century political correctness police, the Washington Dead Injuns probably has to be ruled out.  To us here at the Post, that seems to leave two viable possibilities:  The Bloodthirsty Tomahawking Savages would just leave room for more of the same type of complaining, so we’ve dropped that too, leaving:

         The Washington Scalped European Settlers.

We're certain Redskin fans will love it as much as we do.
