The Thing about Apple

     Apple's proxy material came in this week, reminder of why that corporation's common stock offers a kind of long-term gratification the discerning large-cap equity investor just doesn't run across anywhere else on Wall Street these days, and MacDougal wants to make sure subscribers are aware of the opportunity to jump all over it too.

     Since landing on the company's Board of Directors, joining up a while after he and that Lieberman guy lost to George W. Bush in the national election, shareholders have gotten to vote against Al Gore again in Apple elections every year since 2003.  That's 14 times and counting, people, and you can make it EVERYONE ELSE BUT AL too.

     Particularly under today's modern portfolio theory, money management doesn't get any better than that.

The One Bank

     The piece on the website linked below, written a while back by Jeff Nielson, discusses a treatment of today's Wall Street Crime Families as a single "super-entity" with fascinating ramifications if this is indeed the way society should be looking at them.  We can find no reason to fault Jeff's reasoning or the work he cites.  Interestingly, if the Families truly are "tentacles of this enormous crime syndicate", implementing a new accounting system for their illicit operations to produce the kind of reports required by the conclusions here would seem to meet generally accepted accounting principles.

White-Bashing Update

     With gender-specific racial warfare conducted against us White males getting swept under the mainstream media rug over the last 7 years, informed victims have turned to alternate sources for news of abuse after abuse on that front.  Here's some of what came in the last couple of days, plus a tidbit of our own.

     One  It was reported that functionaries in the Barry Soetoro Administration plan to publish rules flooding the labor market with 100,000 more foreign workers, largely from the war-torn Mideast and college grads all:

     Two  Government functionaries informed MacDougal that while his gross social security pittance remains unchanged in 2016, the combined Medicare deduction will increase, resulting in a noteworthy reduction in the amount deposited in his bank account each month.  There was no word from anyone on how much of an increase in her $70,000-plus annual ransom the average welfare queen will score this year.

     Three  The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1% during the last session of the year, down 5% from its high last Spring, bringing its annual decline to 2.2% in the worst year for retirees in the stock market since 2008.
