Finally

Top Mets executives put family, friends, staff, and at least one pretty good ballplayer into the Madoff ponzi, and it appears these officials made such participation conditional on investors initiating no direct contact with Bernie or anyone else at scheme headquarters, instead requiring that questions be directed to some financial dude with the ballclub.

To make matters worse, this part of the swindle was executed at Madoff’s behest and actually enforced, meaning the Mets ownership helped their buddy pull the wool over these victims’ eyes.

And now, just when we’ve about gotten over that one, comes news that the clawback guy is suing a former SEC legal honcho to recover $1.5 million in profits the regulatory hotshot received as co-trustee, along with his two brothers, of his mother’s estate, and …. get this …..

Madoff stated from inside the Butner Club Fed that Bernie considered Bloodbath Mary, Chief Obfuscation Officer at the Securities and Excuses Commission, to be a dear friend.

Meanwhile, here at The MacDougal Post, your befuddled staff is pleased to announce that, after years and years of trying, we’ve finally heard it all.
